the http://www.sherv.net/weirdmaker.html works fine for me, and the writing also works in firefox:

hmmm, not sure why the letters didn't post correctly here...
btw, you can use the "Down for everyone" site to check if its really down... for example, http://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/www.sherv.net/
would check this site for you, or http://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/www.sherv.net/weirdmaker.html to check that page you wanted. its a pretty cool tool to use

i think its possible for some of the pages on a site to not work while the others do, but yeah pages cant be "down" like a server can be...

If a file exists on the public section of a site, it is reachable... If tha page doesn't exist it is not. You can't say the page is down, only that it may be removed, renamed etc. As websites are generally on one server, if one page is down, the rest will likely be too
