[Solved] Delete virusscanner by TheSourcE on 01-08-2009 at 07:21 PM

I have deleted my virussanner and reinstall it, but when i install it, Windows says that is out of date, but i have entered the right license.

Also when i remove the program Windows says it still running and up to date. But when i look at the taskbar i see no icon of my scanner. Also the program is going in the software window.

I have Norman Security Suite 7.00.
Anyone has a solution for this problem?

If Windows says it's outdated, it's probably because the virus definitions are old and need to be updated. This happens when those definitions are not downloaded during the install. Usually, AV programs have an option to manually update the definitions.

If Norman itself says your license it outdated and you're sure you provided a valid license key, contact their support.

I'm not too sure about the other problem you're talking about... have you tried rebooting after the uninstall?

I have no idea what that says, so I can't help you.

Please provide a translation.

The text says "Normal Security Suite ver. 7.00 is up to date and virus control is enabled. Anti-virus software helps protect your computer against viruses and other security risks. How can anti-virus software protect my computer better?"

However, the problem is that it shows even when the program has been removed.
