if messenger plus live is now compatible with messenger plus beta, does this mean coloured contact names now show?
this was the problem i was having a few weeks ago.

The fully compatible version (including colored names) will be released soon.

It should be Jan 10 (Saturday), but depending on your timezone, it could be Sunday for you when it's actually released

You will probably be able to download it in the Messenger Plus! Download page but I am not 100% certain about this.

I think the only working versions currently are..
Windows Live Messenger 8.5 + Messenger Plus! Live 4.70
..Due to the forced upgrade on the older WLM 2009 beta (to the latest version) which Plus! was previously compatible with.
But I wouldn't bother with the hassle, just wait till the weekend
