My Remote Control was exactly the script I was looking for. Third party remote programs are a bit too much considering I really only want to shut down my computer and I don't need the extra features.

Here's the deal, I have two computers and one running on vista and one running on XP. The script works fine for XP; Shuts it down and logs it off impeccably. The problem is with the one on Vista-it just won't work. It responds though, says that its shutting down but really isn't.

Any ideas on how to work around this? I would appreciate it very much
