No option to disable auto lock? by MeiR_ct on 01-28-2009 at 01:26 PM

Versions: WLM 8.5 + msgPlus 4.79 (beta), on Windows XP Home Edition.

I dunno certainly if it's a bug and i'm sorry in advance if it's indeed not, and this is an unnecessary post.

I've noticed recently that sometimes my WLM locks automaticlly after (I guess) some idling time, but i'm not quite sure if it occures due to idle or my pressing ctrl + space somewhere accidently. (I'm talking about idle in usage of WLM, not the whole PC)

I assume it's reasonable that auto-lock feature exists in msgplus, since the original purpose of the lock is to avoid from wrong people the usage of messenger.

Anyway, I know almost for sure about one or two times it locked while I was idling. When I wished to disable that and searched for the option in Prefences >> Messenger tab >> Messenger Lock, I couldn't see anything about automatic lock nor disabling it.

Sorry again if i'm wrong and there isn't that kind of thing.
And if there is, I hope u'll create the option to disable it.

Thanks- MeiR.

Plus! doesn't automatically lock Messenger, only when you press the keyboard shortcut (Ctrl + Space by default).

Maybe you installed a script which adds automatic locking? For example http://www.msgpluslive.net/scripts/view/34-Idle-Security/.

Nah, I've no any scripts for meanwhile.
It's probably the keyboard shortcut that I press accidently sometimes.
I'll disable it and it won't bother me anymore :)

Thanks and sorry again that it isn't a bug.
