Since I moved into this student dorm, WLM and my webcam stopped working together. I believe it has something to do with the fact that I'm connected through a non-UPnP firewall, but i thought that WLM could connect either way?

What happens is that the webcam appear to be connecting, then it's white for a few second before it shuts down. This goes with both sending and receiving video...

There is nothing I can do with the firewall, but maybe the problem is somewhere else? Any ideas?

Try updating your video card drivers. That worked for me. Good luck
