I have this strange bug lately that out of nowhere, the "New Message" sound sounds out of my speakers but there isnt any new message...It happens randomly.
Anyone expiernce this? It first I actually thought I was going crazy and being on Messenger too long but I can now confirm that it does randomly sound.

Maybe you have WLM set up so that that particualr sound is used for more than one thing, not just a new message?

Never had that. What I do experience is the new message sound playing twice (simultaneously with a small delay). Only seem to happen on the first message in a chat, so when a new conversation window + a toast is created. I have some custom Plus! notifications configured, but none of those are set to use sound.
