Call divert service by Quantum on 03-12-2009 at 09:55 PM

Hey,

Over at dmClub you can get a free mobile number that redirects all calls to your mobile/home/work phone. It can even direct to mailboxes or redirect if a number is unavailable.

It's free and a pritty decent service...

However i need a service that's free and allows me to do something like:

- Bob calls 078653526 and does not get directed.

- But if Bob calls 078653526*2345 gets directed.

---
For free.

Does anyone know of such service?

Cheerz

No, almost sounds like you're gonna need your own pbx somewhere with outside calling abilities.

I see.

When my secondary number is used and diverted to my main number is there anyway to know that it was diverted?

Usually you can't tell that a phone call is being diverted unless there is an obvious delay or an auto attendant asking you for something inbetween. I know services such as Vonage can have multiple different lines ring when someone calls your primary Vonage number, perhaps that would be something you should be looking into? Then again I'm no expert on telephony.

I'm not sure what you're trying to do, but it sounds mysterious to me :P.
