WLM has blown away auto HM Login by pwallace on 03-20-2009 at 09:35 AM

Hi, I have upgraded to Windows Live Messenger (14.0.8064.206). Since then, when I open my Hotmail inbox from WLM, I am prompted to login, even though I am logged in to WML. This is a big headache.

Separately, the Hotmail login page opens in a new tab. It didn't previously!!

Please help.

Thanks

P.

Generally, it doesn't matter to us. Does it matter to you?

When you usually sign in on the Hotmail Page, there should be an option to auto-sign in.

Either it opened a new instance of IE, or replaced the current page, which IMO is more annoying...

It opens in a new tab (IE7). Previously was a new window, as desired.

I do not see any Hotmail option to auto login from WLM to Hotmail (right click - Email inbox). Can someone point me towards such a page/setting?

When you go manually to the Hotmail sign-in page, there should be an option to Sign In Automatically, just like in WLM.
