I can see "Plus!" on the main toolbar (File/Contacts/Actions/Tools/Help/Plus!), tabbed chats work, I can see coloured nicknames the way they're supposed to display with Plus working, I can access the Preferences & Options menu for the addon but that's where it stops.
No option changes actually work, I suddenly can't use skins (yes, I made sure they're compatible with the version) and none of the buttons that come with Plus appear in contact and chat windows even tho I have them enabled in options.

I've used Plus! for a long while now without problems, I had the latest versions of Windows Live and the plus addon working alright before this happened so I don't think the update caused it.

I tried reinstalling both MsgPlus! Live and then Windows Live completely, nothing changes.

Do you have any other add-ons that may be conflicting with Plus! like MessengerDiscovery, MSNShell, SmileyCentral, Kiwee, GDI++ or ThreatFire installed? If not, then please post a screenshot of your Add/Remove programs for us to find out if there is something else that can be conflicting with Plus!.

I do have ThreatFire. Is there a way to keep using both?

I dont think it can be solved keeping both as I didnt find anything about it in ThreatFire's settings. But there are alot of other good anti-viruses out there.. Avast, AVG etc...

I'm using Avira, I guess that'll be enough.

Threatfire has an exceptions list, no? Have you tried adding it?
