POP-UP WINDOW ON THE RIGHT SCRIPT by AkitoTheUnderdog on 03-22-2009 at 12:32 AM

(before reading: sorry my english, I'm from Argentine xD)

HI! I got a question:
Is there any script to change the place of the pop-up window?
I need to change the side of the window that appears when somebody connect or when receiving new mail, it currently shows up from the left side of the screen (above the clock), and i need it on the right side (above the "start" button).
I check everywhere and I can't find a script like that.
I try to make it myself but i really don't understand scripting ñ__nU
My email: darkpoetryck@hotmail.com in case somebody knows a script to change the place of the pop-up window or knows how to make one.

I don't think it is possible to change the position of the toast.

The bottom right hand corner of the screen is generally used for notifications, so it's the most logical place for the toasts anyway

But yeah, you can't change it as far as I know

The location and direction of the toasts cannot be changed using a script. It may be possible to do it via hex editing the Messenger executable itself, but as far as scripting goes it isn't possible; there are limits to what you can do with it.

Exactly xD
I already got all the other toasts in that place, i need to change the one from msn.
The thing is, changing the place of that little window is possible with Msn Discovery, but i don't wanna install the whole software just to change the toast side, so i wanna know if there is a scripter that can create a script to do that :3

I can pay him with hope and good wishes ñ__nU

I mean right of the screen, not MY right xD
Anyway, i found a script that instead of changing the place of the toast, it shows the toasts all together in a little box that you can move around the screen. It's not what i'm looking for, but i wander if it is posible instead of tryng to change the "official" toast of msn, disable it and create a script that shows basically the same toast but one that you can move around the screen.
It is possible?
Where can I find a scripter that would do that? ^____^

As ryxdp and djdannyp said earlier, you can't change the location of the toast.

I now know that you can't change the position of the actual toast.
But with the Pop-Up Spy script you can view the toasts in a little box that you can move around the screen. It is not what I'm looking for, but that scripts itself shows that you can disable the "show toasts" option and still show them with a script, without changing the "official" toast.
Is there any way of making a simple script that can register the toasts and show them in a "fake" toast that you can actually place in a different spot of the screen?
Can somebody teach me to do that? :3
