Hey, thank you if you've taken the time to read this 
I have Windows Live Messenger 2009 Beta and the Windows Live Plus! Add-on and everything is up to date.
So this is my problem:
In conversation windows the colours dont show up, all i can see are the codes as shown in the attachment
i can see everyone elses names in colour on my contacts list and i can see my name in colours at the top.
this is really annoying as i like seeing my colours when im talking to people.

Please have a look at the following thread as you most probably have a program installed that is conflicting with Plus!.
By the way, Windows Live Messenger is final and not beta anymore.
