MSN virus that keeps sending phoney links to my contacts by The Silent Hero on 05-09-2009 at 07:45 PM

I entered my login info into a phoney link by a contact of mine. The actual link template was:
http://(username).xmas-party-pics.com
This was sent to me on Boxing Day. I really don't know what came over me so that I would do this, since I'm usually very secure online, but it happened and here we are.

It keeps sending links to my friends, and they're starting to complain. I tried using the MSN Virus Remover but it freezes and shuts down as soon as I start it up (work of the virus perhaps?). I just want to know how to get rid of it. Would starting a new account help?

Please and thanks.

Change your password on https://account.live.com/. If you didn't execute any questionable files, but just gave out your password on a site, changing your password may be enough to stop it.
