Hopefully someone can help.

Basically, a contact was deleted a day or so ago so I added them again from my Privacy/Allow list.

Last time their name was 'normal' (ie no 'cool' design etc) but when it went back to my messenger contact list, it was in a different layout (this time it was a 'cool' design).

Obviously it must be how they asked it to be displayed but I thought Messenger was supposed to use the previous format or the email address, not add how they had asked it to be displayed - unless they had requested to join my contacts again.

Does that make sense? Can anyone answer this at all?

If they didn't delete you, you would still be seeing their name as it is now as long as they have appeared online recently.

So even if I deleted it and restored it and it showed the old format whilst they were offline, then as soon as they come online it would change to the new format?
