I have had the same problem for about 2 weeks.
When i click sign in on Windows Live Messenger, it starts to sign in... and then keeps doing so for about 15 minutes, untill a pop up comes up saying "Windows live communications Platform has stopped working- a problem caused the program to close".
I have tried everything from firewall to un-installing and re-installing. I have also checked problems with the NET. service and none of it has worked.
If any one can help that would be so amazing!
