as you can see in this image there is more than one search engine here, this isn't my chrome browser, my chrome browser will not display anything more than search history, on my other machine I had it showing recently used engines but I don't know why it's not working now.

When you type a URL in the address bar, if the site is searchable it'll say "Press tab to search" when you press tab you can then type in a term to search the site for. Once you've done this it is added to that list on the new tab page.

I thought I had tried that, works though, thanx vaccy
