Local location of Dynamic Display Picture(s) ? by Lux on 07-05-2009 at 12:08 AM

Hello :D

As mentioned in subject, i need a location of dynamic display pictures on my HDD.

To be precize, using option of windows live messenger 2009, to create custome dynamic display pic, by taking picture of web cam and/or 4s video.
I used some other program, that puts any graphical image/video (i used animated gif)
into a web cam stream.
So i got my own dynamic display picture out of gif animated picture.

[ I mentiod all this just if someone is interested to make some for themsleves. :D]

BUT what I NEED is to backup that image. And i do not know where are dynamic pictures located on my HDD.
This is the only one i've got (dont know if msn2009 comes with preinstalled some) so i guess it's posibble if it named randomly to find it.

So help anyone ? :)

thanks in advance :D

EDIT:

Never mind, i found it.

If anyone needs it: [winXP]

\Documents and Settings\YourName\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Messenger\YourEmail\ObjectStore\WebcamDDP

Just use the same way but with the similar folders.... here's the place, btw:
(for Vista)

%userprofile%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Messenger\YOUR EMAIL\ObjectStore\WebcamDDP

Just replace with your email and paste in the explorer url bar.
