its not the "Live Today" option in the preference.
this is some new thing that occasionally pops up and provides news to WLM.
is there any way to disable it?

I hope there is, but i'm afraid there isn't =/
By the way, has someone noticed that in this screenshot the buddy icon at that conversation window is somewhy green?

obviously whoever took the screenshots at MS was using MP!L
