Live Messenger freezes whole computer by wolfbluejosh on 07-27-2009 at 04:18 PM

Hey Guys, new to this but i will get right on the situation.
Lately for the pass could of days, Live Messenger has been freezing up my whole computer. I did a little testing with nothing else running and it still froze my whole computer. Each time i try to sign in, i am force to manually restarting my computer. Just so you know, it hasn't happen till a few days ago. I didn't do anything with the program or anything. I try uninstall and reinstalling the applications and everything allowing it to go through Norton. Right now i am just  seriously tick at this. someone help if possible.

BTW custom built pc and i am running XP Pro SP3 32bit

Already had that problem... but after a Vista update.
What were the last changes you made on your PC before Messenger started freezing your computer? Also, could you try a system restore?

i uninstall firefox since it was being buggy on me then reinstalled it and imported my backup info. The thing that made it buggy was that it was logging me out when i clearly pushed Keep me sign in on gmail but after i close the window it would log me out. idk if that is related to the live messenger

Wait i did install my cell phone drivers so that is also a factor other than that, system check points are in place everyday
