Haven't seen any threads in the Tech Talk section, hope it's not a repost.
Windows 7 will soon be released and the Premium Home edition has a retail price tag of $120.
Microsoft is currently offering a very reasonable discount for student, making it available for less than $30 to anyone with a valid .edu e-mail address. Two of the website hosting the preorder deal are Digital River & Win 741

I do need them, it's just surprising and pleasant that I have enough legal copies for all the machines at home If I do come across more, you'll be the first I give them away to.
