Everyone that uses iTunes knows that if you close it, the process is removed. So i'm wondering if there's anyway to close it but still have it as an icon in the bottom right aka background (Still having music playing, ect). It'll definitely save some space up on the task-bar aswell

Preferences > Advanced > Show icon on systray; Minimize to systray.

you know itunes was an apple product so http://www.apple.com/getamac/ that's pretty much the default action on osx :)
