1 External Drive connecting to 2 PCs by matty on 12-31-2009 at 07:56 PM

Ok so here is my question followed by an explanation of why I am trying to accomplish this.

I am looking to see if there is a way to be able to connect, over USB, an external HDD to 2 different machines.

The reasoning behind this is I am wanting to connect the external HDD to both my PC and my Wii. Now as the drive would be formatted with the WBFS Windows won't mount it and the Wii won't mount it unless using the USB Loader. Ultimately I want to be able to transfer a game to the external HDD and then play it without swapping the cables around.

Plug the drive into I/O, put A into Wii and B into your PC, voila :p.

For 9 dollars you can't go wrong.
