Windows Live Messenger Keeps Crashing after installing Plus Live by martingonnella on 01-09-2010 at 03:07 PM

I called install Windows Messenger Plus...It keep saying "Windows Live Messenger has stopped working", windows can check online for a solution to the problem the next time you go online...After I Uninstall Messenger Plus...Evrything is ok.

I'm using Windows 7 Premium, which I purchased last week as this is a New laptop.

I've tried installing Patches, windows Updates, etc.

There has been other report of this problem on your forum, but no luck to a solution.

Please Fix this as I like your software and would like to keep it.

Thanks. Martin

There is nothing to fix. It has been tested on all platforms with all versions of WLM. If there is a problem it is most likely a conflict with another program you have installed on your laptop. You can search these forums for threads relating to this. There is a very low chance that something MP!L is doing is affecting the way WLM works.
