MSN download problem by poland0202 on 01-10-2010 at 12:04 AM

Okay so my computer got a virus, blah blah, had to reboot entire computer, blah blah and everything got cleaned out. Now I'm trying to download MSN. I go to the page click download, click save ect, and now when I try to open that file it says it's not found. Is there something I'm doing wrong?

The thing is...there is no run button. Just save.

Ok, the just save it and then Run it, but there might be restrictions established on your PC

Okay so I saved it, and then I double clicked on it and this came up:

The ordinal 266 could not be located in the dynamic link library msi.dll.

Our friend tried to get rid of it without ruining our files but, he couldn't do anything because the computer kept freezing and the file wouldn't get off the computer so, we had to reboot the whole computer. I don't have anything else. I can't even get on that very old MSN.

After reformatting a computer, you should always check for updates.

Your computer probably needs them for many things to work, such as Windows Live Messenger.

Go to Windows Update if you haven't already and download & install all the updates.

BTW, the correct word is format or reformat [wiki]. Reboot is another word for restart.
