Hi,
I need increased storage to send photos/videos with my e-mail. Is Windows Live Plus Free Download suitable for this? If not, please advise of free alternatives.

Nope, Messenger Plus! Live only adds some functions and capabilities to the Windows Live Messenger client.
If you need more email storage space or larger attachment size limit, you could set up an extra account at Yahoo! (unlimited storage) or Google's Gmail (8Gb space, growing by the days, but you can buy more space if you want to).

Windows Live SkyDrive (accessible through Windows Live Messenger) gives you 25GB of online storage which you can give people links to in your e-mails
