DZ, how about adding the ability of seeing who downloaded your attachments. For instance I post a script and then if I click a link it can either expand and show me who downlaoded it or take me to another page. Only the author should be able to see who downloaded it.

I like the idea. Other forums already let you view everybody that downloaded it. Obviously, it needs to be expandable as I know of a few attachments that have got over 1000 downloads

However I don't really want others know that I have downloaded their attachments. Just don't feel like it. :p

I disagree on saying it's an invasion of privacy. There's nothing really to be kept private if you download an attachment.

Plus, if people do think that just put a simple check box (like said above) to opt-out and keep your username to 'anonymous' or 'private'.

I think it's a good idea ;)

Anyway, yeh the only reason for it is so you can be a little stalker and see who has downloaded your attachment.

I can see why andrey wants it.
