Group Cam Chat by Vimto on 01-14-2010 at 08:33 PM

Hey,

Well two of my girlfriends have asked me to ask a question, are there any sort of programs that will allow us to use a webcam to chat to each other (like a group webcam chat for the three of us), but so that its on all of the time (unless turned off) so we can chat in the mornings before college (discussing outfits and the like :P) and whenever else. I've seen it on like American TV Shows, but never found a program that could do it. Or is there software with a specific webcam which does it?

Thank youuuuuuuuuuuu

Skype only allows voice and text conferences.

I always though WLM had the ability of using the Webcam in multiple windows silmultaneously just not in a group chat...

You could also try TokBox, Vawkr and Palbee.

Seeing there's 3 of you -- Perhaps Adobe Acrobat ConnectNow could be a solution?

Maybe find a webcam broadcast software. Make it private, and you can all open up each other's streams. This way, it's always on (while you all keep the cams on at least). Also, if one person goes offline they can rejoin easily when they come online, and anybody can start/stop sending or start/stop receiving anybody's stream easily.

I've also found http://camdip.com - you create a group, send the group link to your friends and you are connected
