hide the yellow invitation bar by spaljeni on 02-01-2010 at 12:23 AM

I'm sure you know what I'm talking about

If not, check out this thread:

For months I see the damn bar every time I rum WLM and it's rather annoying

since this is the attitude of the WLM developers:

quote:
Hi Baz,

You aren't the only person with this complaint, I hear about it weekly with exactly the same
thing showing.

maybe you could include an option to hide the invitation bars. a script would also do it, I don't care as long as I don't see the damn thing on every sign-in.

Thanks

Jonathan Kay is NOT one of the developers of WLM.  He is just a tester and indeed he is a member of these forums too and a supporter of Messenger Plus! Live.

His post there is just showing that you (and the person there) are not the only people experiencing this problem, so the WLM team are aware of it and are more than likely looking into it.

Hiding it with Plus is not really an option as it would remain permanently hidden and any future invitations wouldn't show up

OOPS, then I need to apologize. All those things in the persons signature must have left a wrong impression on me.
Sorry about that.

However, I do not use the Live page or any of its features at all. I wouldn't even know it existed it it was not for the yellow bar (ehm...)

So hiding this would be an option for me, and I believe many others feel the same way too.
