In the user country list, there only seems to be a British Flag. Since, I'm not British and I'm Scottish, I cannot display my country: Scotland.

Can you add a Scotland one, WDZ?

Edit-- Makes sense for all the 4 countrys to have there own flag instead of just Britain. Also, it's more specific.

Tbh I would quite like an England flag.  I consider myself to be English, not British.

National identity among "British" people tends to be quite strong.  I'm sure most people would identify themselves as English, Irish, Scottish or Welsh, not British

You're British as Scotland is in Britain. Thus the flag is correct, although some users may prefer a more customisable choice .

I perceive myself as Scottish, not British

Reality: Didn't happen when we complained before, so don't see why it would now.

find your country in this list and i'm sure dz would add it. if it's not in there, you're out of luck

The flags are from famfamfam.com I believe and they originally had the separate countries, but the countries not in the "ISO standard" got removed.

Other people also started requesting changes, etc. and got a bit out of control (See: 25 pages of deciding the flag feature).

As much as we'd prefer to be recognised by our country and not our 'kingdom', it's what people recognise internationally.

This was a contentious issue when I added the flags (read the thread), and I don't really want to revisit it.
