messenger issue by tulip on 03-10-2010 at 04:03 PM

hello hope everybody is having a good day =)

I just want you guys explain me one issue which is related to my messenger.

well I restarted or i think logged out of computer and signed in my other account.
I connected to the net and signed in to my messenger,, well when it was in the process of signing in a notice came up and told me I am signed in two places, like a multiple account in the same email. I am sure that i signed out of my account before the restart. Well in the same notice they say that it is signed in the same computer because they wrote my PC's name. So I signed out of the other place.  I am worried is it something to be worried about? cuz I changed my email's password and secret question

Thanx :D

It's possible that when you open your Hotmail inbox that you get signed in there too.  When you're signed in, if you click to sign out it should give you the options to sign out from locations.  If they're both the same then it means its the same computer.  You can disable auto-sign in whilst signed into Hotmail, it gives you an option in the top right, just next to "Options" it will show your Messenger status, if you click there you can tell it not to sign you in automatically when you open hotmail

^^
hi thanx for answering
I just need to ask one more question
The options that you mentioned , is it the one in the messenger or the email?

In Hotmail, in the top right hand corner of it

Also, could you please delete your second post.  It's against the forum rules to double post and it can take a while for people to read and reply, there's no need to bump after only one day ;)
