Could be just me, but the update system hasn't worked for weeks: I do get update notifications, but MPL won't download anything. All I get is a general message box, stating that "An error has occurred while downloading an update." I'm running:
Windows Vista Home Premium x64 Service Pack 2 (6.0.6002)
Windows Live Messenger 14.0.0726
Messenger Plus! Live 4.83.0.378
If you want to reproduce this error, well.. just try to download script/skin updates

confirmed!
The returned links for the scripts (eg: /scripts/uploads/xxxx.plsc) are apparently not existing on the subdomain (download.msgpluslive.net).
It appears that the 'download' subdomain doesn't forward the links anymore to the main domain (www.msgpluslive.net).
aka server problem/bug.
PS: link to the Plus! update is downloaded properly though

Fixed it.
Do a '/checkupdates' and try again.
