Additional e-mail address not sending/receiving by grandlady on 04-12-2010 at 04:15 PM

I created a new e-mail address at msn.com to have one a little more professional sounding when applying for jobs. I put that new e-mail address as contact info on a job application. I then saw a yellow triangle with exclamation point inside it next to the inbox for my new e-mail name and the explanation reads: "You cannot send or receive your MSN e-mail because of an unexpected problem. Please try restarting either MSN or your computer." MSN and the computer have been re-started multiple times since then. Under the more information tab it reads: "Why this happened Error code: 0x8b01000e" How can I fix this? (On the off-chance someone actually replies to my job application and resume).

I didn't think Hotmail/Live/MSN.com supported POP3 email without a subscription service.

I am in standard MSN Mail e-mail program.

Ok, this section of the forum is soley meant for issues relating to Messenger Plus!. I will have a moderator move it to the Tech Talk section.

However as per my previous post:

I believe a year or so ago they started to allow services like POP3 etc :D
