First off, yes I did Google this problem before coming here.
Yes, I did search this forum but found nothing that applies in the results.
No, I don't have any scripts installed, at all.
And yes, I did check.
Yes, I have the setting to use the same display picture and name where ever I log in turned on.
Yes, I also have the settings for the format panel in display name turned on.
All I have installed is the skin found here: LTD by Will 'Willz' Ingles
My name keeps changing to the first word of my email whenever I begin a conversation or am in the middle of one.
Yes, it even changes in mid conversation, which is rather irritating. I keep going back to change it back and it only works for so long before it's changed again. So, why is this happening and how can I fix this?
Does this have something to do with the skin? If that's the case then I'll contact Willz but until then I'd like to exhaust all possible solutions before doing that. I rather like this skin and I want to be able to continue using it.
Any help or insight would be great, thanks.

Do you get signed into Web Messenger on Hotmail?

Actually, how do I stop it from doing that? I know that it's using my e-mail name but when I go to change the name I use for my e-mails it asks for both a first and last name.
I don't want my MSN name to be my full name, nor do I want it to continue changing on its own.
How do I make it stop?

That thread helped none matty. 
Seems there is no solution for this at the moment. If one is found it would be nice but will have to live with this for the time being.

I just tested the following and it successfully worked:
Clicked the status icon in the upper right corner > clicked sign out. This kept me signed out of Web Messenger even when I logged back in.

You're right, it works fine if you sign out.
