Nile's real life campaign: Erect Statues of Slash and Lemmy in Stoke-on-Trent by aNILEator on 08-17-2010 at 09:45 AM

I started a campaign, inspired in part by the success of Jon & Tracy Morter's Rage against the X factor Christmas no.1 campaign to have statues of rock legends Slash and Lemmy erected in Stoke-on-Trent.

So far had over 450 people get behind me and I only publically launched the campaign this weekend! Plan is gather interest and support then decide an ideal location approach council and organize fundraising events like tribute concerts and such.

I was asked to appear on BBC radio this morning I'm still waiting for the show to go online then I'll rip it and add the relevant audio clip, photos are up already however.

Any support, suggestions etc etc all very welcome :D
