Hey,
The lock messenger feature does not actually lock the messenger as new message windows are able to bypass the lock. It does lock the messenger and hide current windows but new windows are not kept hidden.

Messenger 2011 support in Plus! 4.9 is still experimental. But I've added it to the list on Plus 4.9 on WLM 2011. Which features work and which ones don't.
