forgot the password, is there a way to change it?

Open your registry editor (Start > Run > Regedit) and delete
HKCU\Software\Patchou\Messenger Plus! Live\<your account>\Preferences\PreferencesLockPwd
Once you have done this you will need to open your Preferences, disable the password option or at least change it.
