hello... my windows live messenger 2009 had the messenger plus 4.85...
today I chatted on wlm and everything was ok...
I turned off my notebook, to go out and when I turned on my notebook, my wlm was with his "normal background" and the option PLUS! in the top of the page wans't there......
I reinstalled my plus, and didn't work... I reinstalled my wlm and it didn't work...


help me please because I love messenger plus and I really need it

You're not alone...... Although, while you're on WLM2009, I upgraded to WLM2011 and Plus is never to be seen, like you, no menu no nothing.

Maybe you upgraded?

everybody who upgraded to wlm2011 have your problem... but the true is that I didn't upgrade... I'm still using wlm 2009...
and I've already did everything... but nothing works!...

yes, I did... but nothing works

Have you installed any other ad-ons or programs since? This could be the cause to why Messenger Plus! isn't there. Another program could be interfering with Plus! and preventing it from loading.

Actually, I downgraded to v2009 and can say theres no Plus menu at all, only the Plus ICON after you signed in (next to the big email icon). So newer versions of Plus must have got rid of the Menu option then.

but I can't find the icon... there is no icon...

and no... I don't have any virus

there is no "plus!" in the main menu bar and there is no "plus icon" near to the mail icon

in my case is C:\program files(x86)windows live/messenger... and yes... there is a file called msimg32.dll

Are you running Windows Live Messenger in Compatibility Mode? 

If not then please check your Programs & Features list for the programs in the link posted by Chrissy.....it may be that one of them is there without you having realised as that is the most common cause of Messenger Plus! not loading

Why do people assume people are stupid - ok, I take that back, I also assume people are stupid as normally I get q's like "what is uppercase?", so yeah....
