Chat window's status bar isn't working properly on WLM 2009 by Lady Eleanor on 02-18-2011 at 11:53 PM

When chatting in Messenger 2009, I noticed an odd thing - conversation window's status bar (you know, the one that should show: "Last message received at..." or "Bla-bla has changed his/her status to Online") is constantly showing the first status change that occured during this conversation. At the same time, when the contact is writing something (I have "User Is Typing" notifications enabled), the bubble is shown, but the text remains: "Bla-bla has changes his/her status to Online"
Before any status changes the status bar works properly

Windows Live Messenger 2009 (Build 14.0.8117.416) + Messenger Plus Version: 5.00.0.702 on Windows 7 Pro (w/o SP1 :P)

This is a known bug with Plus! 5. Let's hope they'll fix it soon!

This is still happening with the latest version, as far as I'm aware.  Little annoying...

According to totonf (one of the developers) at http://shoutbox.menthix.net/showthread.php?tid=97626 , a new version with this bug fixed should be out "in a couple weeks"
