Msn messenger bug by Itzrobert666 on 03-01-2011 at 07:31 AM

It seems that my msn gets bugged over time.
Sometimes when I talk to my friends my msn starts to block all recieving messages.
This happens with ebuddy, msn, msn plus, web messenger.
After a while it works again but it's getting pretty annoying.
I'd like some help on this... So please help me if you know an solution.

Hi Itzrobert666,

I haven't found or seen a solution for this problem yet and am only aware of one other person having this issue, however this was linked to using Windows Live Messenger 2011. He then signed out and back in every so often to make sure people could contact him. Downgrading to Windows Live Messenger 2009 would fix the problem for him.

Are you using the ebuddy and web messenger while still being logged in in your Windows Live Messenger client?

I use the msn+ 2010 version, but I'm most of the time on my iPhone msn, created by Microsoft Corp itself.
When this bug happens I usually log off and get onto ebuddy, but when that doesn't work I try meebo or the msn on my computer.

What exactly is msn+ 2010? Can you post a screenshot of that?

If it is happening on multiple services the only common denominator are the Microsoft servers. They are having problems delivering the messaged. This is something you will need to discuss with Microsoft.

It's the msn+ version that has been released early in 2010

Will they do something about it? Maybe a new update or something?

Have you tried upgrading to the latest version of Windows Live Messenger?

Please note that Messenger Plus! and Windows Live Messenger are two totally different applications.

I'll discuss it with my friend, he works at Microsoft.

If your friend doesn't work with Windows Live Messenger then he will be no use to you. Each department of Microsoft is responsible for their own products... and Microsoft has A LOT of products.
