I have questions in regards with locking messenger:

1. Does event log still records events when messenger is locked?

2. If someone sent me an IM, will i get it whem unlocked?

The answer to both your questions is yes. :)

Messenger Lock doesn't change any normal functionality other than hiding your messenger and change your status, if set it up to do so.
