So basicly whats going on is that i cannot see file transfer bar nor voice message icon. In included picture i told my friend to send me an mp3 file to show whats wrong. Any ideas how to fix it

Can you actually complete file transfers (i.e. you can't see them, but it otherwise works)? Does disabling the skin solve the problem?

yea i can complete the transfer and changing the skin back to normal didn't work

There is an incompatibility with your graphic card (or its drivers), as you can read here. You can try:
1. updating your video driver;
or
2. disabling Windows Live Messenger 2011 graphic acceleration, thanks to a registry trick. You can find the complete procedure here (translate it with the widget on the left).
