The online installer sucks...
Never gonna figure out why the installer is so buggy that it won't even retry with different server/mirror

I am also having the same problem installing the new update. The online installer fails every single time. It gets about 3/4 finished and then fails. If so many people are having this problem, maybe it's time to go back to the offline installer. This is absolutely ridiculous and totally unnecessary, especially when there is an obvious solution.
Perhaps it's time to just stop using Plus altogether.

Regardless, yes it might be handy to have an offline installer again. But try to put things in perspective though.
Also, please don't cross post the same thing across multiple threads guys. It wont help and it also isn't allowed.

Trust me, there are a lot more people experiencing this than have posted here. I have a lot of friends complaining of the same thing. However, if it won't install, then I have no other option but to uninstall Plus! entirely.
Oh, and 'your' perspective means nothing to those MANY of us who are suffering due to a faulty installer.

on my computer, only the v484 offline installer can work

I can't ever install it with web installer, but v484 offline installer can work.

Offline installer is being worked on both for Messenger Plus! for Windows Live Messenger and Messenger Plus! for Skype.

Hope they offer the offline installer before much longer. I do not like online installers.
