Different font colors during conversation with same user by messer23 on 06-01-2012 at 05:05 PM

Hi, I'm new to Messenger Plus and only discovered it in researching the topic of my post. While reviewing the Windows Live conversation history stored on my computer, I noticed during chats with one of my contacts that the font color sometimes changes during the same conversation - meaning that the responses which are normally in red font, change to the same black font as my messages for one or two lines and then change back to red again. Is it possible, for someone with Messenger Plus to sign in on different devices at different locations? Just trying to figure out if I have an unknown third party to my chats.

No however Windows Live Messenger supports MPOP which stands for Multiple Points of Presence which means they could be signed into a different device assuming it supports the MPOP protocol.

Thanks for taking the time to respond. Doesn't MPOP mean that the same user could be signed in on different devices? What I'm not sure about is whether they could see the same message at both places. I think that's the way it works when you're signed into Messenger and the Windows Live website simultaneously.

MPOP enables the user to see the message on all devices currently connected.
