(I apologize in advance if it turns out this is in the wrong forum category.)

So I had to reinstall Messenger Plus! today, and I tried to create a new messenger skin for myself with the Easy Skin Creator button. So I go through the process of choosing a background image for my messenger, choosing a background image for my chat windows, etc etc. So I click done, it restarts Messenger .... and then nothing. My messenger still had the default Messenger skin.

I don't understand what I'm doing wrong or how to fix this. Could someone help me please?

P.S. My current version Windows Live Messenger is 16.4.3503.0728 and the Messenger Plus! version I just got was 5.50.0.763.

Hi LiliumSnow, and welcome to the forum.
This is a known problem in the support of Plus! for the new version 2012 Messenger, and the developers are working on fixing it as soon as possible.
Hopefully the Easy Skin Creator and Skin Editor will work with the 2012 Messenger in the next uppcoming version of Plus!

Okay so now the Easy Skin Creator works, but now there's this big white space that covers up my Messenger background that I can't get rid of. What do I do (those black boxes over people's names and photos I added to hide my friends' identities)?

I am also having this problem. I had to reinstall Messenger and Plus! today, and my previous skins were not compatible. So I remake. Now there's that white spot under the contacts.

These aren't even considered "skins" all they are....is IMAGES in the backgrounds lol...that's it. The creator doesn't even work like its suppose to. I want to add custom buttons etc....why would I want pictures? lol So I can't read my font? LOL
