I remember when I used windows live messenger and it had a lock shortcut. When I pressed CTRL + SPACEBAR, it minimized itself to my menu bar and I had to double click it to re enter windows live messenger again .. I used this so my mom wouldn't be able to see my chats .. Is this possible to do with skype? If so, how do you do it? If not, can you guys work on adding it to the Messenger Plus for Skype?

And no, MP! for Skype doesn't have it.

Please add the following feature that lets you lock skype with a simple keyboard shortcut and hide it in the system tray with an inconspicuous icon in the next version . Just like eg.wlm messenger /messenger lock/

Its one of the most usefull features i used to use in Plus! for messenger Live. It should be implemented in Plus! for Skype too.

I used msn Plus purely for this function when I was in High school... now im living with nosey housemates I find I need it again but now with skype.

We've passed the request on to developers for future versions of Skype.   Can't make any promises, but it does seem to be one of the popular features of Plus! for WLM.

Without a doubt, I want to join the other user in this application. For various reasons is a feature that should not be out of the package.

Please do add the boss key feature for the Skype Messenger Plus!

I've searched everywhere for something that will make this possible, since I used it with WLM and now it will be shut down and switched to Skype.. There are thrid party softwares but not designed for skype, I'm sure that if the feature was added to Messenger Plus it would be better in every way possible..

I can't see this being likely as one of Skype's rules for add-ons is that they don't interfere with the GUI/Interface in any way. Surely hiding it would violate this?

Skype lock is in development - won't be ready this version.  Hopefully next!

This option is definitely a must!!!.. to have integrated in MSN Plus for Skype.
It was the reason I did not wanted to switch so skype,because that option doesn't exist. Now we are all force to make the switch to skype and  NO BOSS KEY 

Hopefully soon in a close future we will get that option in a new version..!!! I'll keep my fingers cross.

I'm very happy to read that this function is being worked on for future release! Even though May is approaching the end I hope it can be safe to bet it'll be here by the end of July
