I cant get the webcam to work properly, instead me, it appears a Messenger Plus logo image.
How can this be fixed without having to unisntal Messenger Plus for Skype, yes because so far appears to be the only solution.

Are you using a virtual machine?

I am experiencing the same problem - during a video call my webcam only shows Plus! logo... What is virtual machine? What should I do to make the webcam work properly?

Thanks for reporting this issue,
Some browser enabled applications select randomly a web camera from the computer. It happens that they select Messenger Plus! virtual Camera which has no video feed unless enabled by Messenger Plus! (for Skype).
To solve it you can either:
Select the physical camera in browser if possible instead of the MP! virtual camera
or
1 Start Messenger Plus!,
2. open Video Effects panel,
3. Start preview
We started looking into this issue.
