When I try to log into Yahoo Messenger, it gives me an error message that says, "There was a problem signing you into messenger. Your account has been locked. Please click on "Forgot Password" to start the unlocking process".
I do that and am able to log into my yahoo account but still can't log into yahoo messenger.
Please help me fix this, have no idea how

We are Messenger Plus!, an add-on to Windows Live Messenger and Skype. We are not affiliated with Yahoo.

Tigerlady, when you were creating this account of yours, you might have provided an alternate e-mail, in case you forget your password ....... Now, i believe, in forget password, yahoo might provide you an option to send the password at your provided alternate e-mail address. Do that and check the other e-mail....!!!
