Hi everyone,

Im after a program either free or pay for that will convert AVI (AVI, XVID, DIVX) to DVD. and reasonably simple (ie once it starts just let it do its thing with having to come back every 10mins or so to click to next stage like some of those tools that use several programs to do certain parts).

***Most importantly it must take advantage of the Intel Xeon Processor. (That is 4 x 700 Mhz).

currently i have been using WinAVI video converter on my laptop which does a great job. but have just set up my server to do video conversion and tried to use this program and it appears to only be using one processor as it is taking almost triple the time to convert as it would on my laptop...

anyway, any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I'm using Avivo Xcode by ATI, but that doesn't use the cpu but my videocard.

Before that I used WinAVI too, did the job too, only took a little longer.

hmm. ok
i would assume the server does not have a powerful graphics card though.
Any other ideas?
