why it doesn't work in the present?

It's because MSN Messenger 7.0 and newer versions resize the Display Picture again when it is shown on your contact's side.


Edit: Right, I misread a bit of your post.

As lordy16 said, both you and your contact need StuffPlug so that they can see your Over Sized DPs, and you can see theirs.

BOTH you AND your contact needs to have stuffplug and both need to have the oversize dp's option enabled. sorry but there's nothing that can be dome about it, it's an MSN messenger thing it will still work but yeh both u and your contact need to have it

No, unfortunately now, both your contacts need Stuffplug NG to see oversized display pictures, like said above.

I don't have StuffPlug, but i still have msn 6.2 and i see all the oversized pics

Note it says "MSN Messenger 7.0 and newer versions". Thus why your 6.2 still works.

Yeah, it’s fun to have your contacts DP take up half your screen...

Think about it - each user should have the right to decide if they should allow their DP 'window' to be resized.  You shouldn't be forcing oversized DP’s onto people who don't want them.  This is a positive change.

If your contact is happy to allow oversized DP's, get them to install and enable the required Stuffplug feature.
