not really, firefox 3 added acid2 support back around 19-Aug-2006.
IE is far behind firefox

I've never thought this, I prefer it over IE7's new "hide all the menus and see if people can find them" look : <

=p i don't see that happening.
IE needs to upgrade jscript ( to add support for E4x, generators and iterators, destructuring assignment )
IE needs DOM2 events
IE needs the html5 canvas tag (sure you can emulate it, but other browsers are already working on 3D canvas (using opengl) which you cant emulate.)
IE needs svg support (without adobe's plugin)

IE could use microsummaries which are pure awesome
IE could use html5 Client side persistent storage
IE could use html5 Server sent events (only opera supports these at the moment, example)

heh that's all i can think of at the moment, that's all i can think of from the top of my head.

Firefox all the way for me, which has been the case since i moved to Firefox 1, i like the way it works, the memory leak can be easily fixed, it doesnt look cluttered and the options are easy to navigate, top browser for me, but i will try IE8 because IE7 isn't to bad. But Firefox will always be the top of my list.

I try both of them... Now I've Firefox 2, it's nice expecially because it have plugins and extension, I like Google View for example. But when I open it, it load for 5-6 seconds in my pc... too! And so I prefer to use IE7, that load in 2-3 seconds.

If I create a website, it's logical that I need to try it with Firefox... try for example to use www.msghelp.it with IE7 (many errors) or with Firefox (nothing errors!).. but if IE8 respect rules of WS and W3C, i think that I use it...

I have to admit I have had more problems with IE then Firefox, also on Firefox it is way easier to customise it which is great. What I hate about IE is the fact that it is so cluttered, with all the extra bars and all.
Firefox is the future people :D

Hiding all userbars so that people can't find them is not clean ¬_¬

There's a wealth of good skins for Firefox. Using the Nasa Night Launch skin atm, it's hot and fits well with Vista. The design is completely customizable as Nile said.

Not to mention all of Firefox 3's new features 8-)

Personally IE7 on my computer loads quickly but i find it to be extremely laggy with certain websites such as myspace, where as Firefox 2/3 load the website quickly and my computer doesn't lag which just drives me insane on IE7.

I don't have a problem with IE7, but I prefer Firefox 2 because of all the features it has which IE doesn't: add-ons, themes, (loads more), etc. You can personalise FF2 a lot more. You just use IE how it comes.
